Do Not hire the "guides" standing at the entrance to the hiking trail. They rudely and aggressively shake you down for a tip. There is a small fee to access the trail.
The trail leads straight back to the falls, no chance to get lost.
10 minute walk.
Falls are beautiful, and the water is cool and refreshing. Wear water shoes as the rocks are slippery if you go wading or swimming.

This is definitely worth a stop – the waterfalls were spectacular (the tallest in Grenada!) to see, it was not overrun with tourists and very peaceful. There are no signs but it is at an intersection where you will see a security guard and locals available to wash your shoes after the walk. It was a 15-20 minute walk each way – while not a tough hike, we went after there was a lot of rain and it was very muddy, very slippery and two of the hills a bit difficult to navigate without slipping and falling. The water is COLD and it is pretty rocky so not super swimmable. This is definitely worth the stop and small entrance fee to visit!

We loved that this place is not touristic and that you are not pressured by locals to “get a guide”. Just pay a modest entrance feel ($2.50EC pp) and walk for 10 minutes to the falls.
There are two great places to swim: under the falls and a little bit lower (you have to follow down the stream from the path). We cane in the morning (11am) and had the falls to ourselves. It gets a little busier in the afternoon, but it is never crowded.

Visiting Mt. Carmel Falls was truly an incredible experience. While the trail was a bit wet and muddy, the effort was entirely worth it to witness the unparalleled beauty of nature at its finest.

Nice falls, turn left at the bottom of the stairs where the white roof pergola is and continue along the river for 2min. 2.5EC per perso cash.

Beautiful! It’s literally paradise!
Totally free to visit.
A bit of a hike to get there, but very rewarding.

Beautiful place, great for to enjoy with friends and family. Short easy trail approximately 10 to 15 minutes. Fit for the all ages.

This place was ok. I love waterfalls and hiking so I made this my first stop when we arrived on the island just because it was close to our place. But while the falls themselves are nice, there is trash everywhere, people seem to go to enjoy nature and then ruin it by leaving their refuse. It was really disappointing. If you are in the area, its worth the $5EC and 15 min walk but I wouldn't go out of my way to see it.

Beautiful except for the drunken boys/men that hang around at the entrance asking for handouts for keeping your car safe!

Was a fun experience. The walk to the falls was brief. It would also be a great place for camping

Beautiful place! Seeing the falls was a very informal ordeal. We parked on the side of the road, and paid 5 EC to get a guide to take us down the path and show us the falls. There is a steep path to the top of the waterfall if you’re up for a bit of excitement.

We had a wonderful time. Out of the falls we have seen here on the island, this has been my favorite. Our guide, Dexter, was wonderful. He took time to teach us about all the wonderful things of the rainforest as we hiked to the falls. I would suggest bringing good shoes as the trail can get slippery. This is on private property, and you do pay an entrance fee to walk the trail. You are also expected to tip your guide.

Muddy but great short trek to this beautiful falls surrounded by lush rainforest. Just feel the mist as the water tumbles from the forested cliff above. You can do it solo, but the guides are friendly, helpful and inexpensive. Love low key not overly commercialized tourist spots like this. Highly recommended!

Falls were nice but there was a lot of garbage around the falls. Go to seven sisters falls much prettier.

A must visit on the island of Grenada. Such a beautiful area, the larger fall is spectacular, and the only waterfall in Grenada that does not fall directly into a pool - you can climb some surrounding rocks and stand beneath it if you're feeling brave.

The smaller falls are fun and can be used as a natural slide into a large pool at the bottom of the falls, this is worth the entry fee alone. Get a guide if you like, it's not necessary to get to the falls but it's good to get some local knowledge about the area and where the best places area to attempt to climb or slide down the falls.

Great place for families to swim. Just watch out for trash or broken glass in in bushes if you're barefoot.
