Laluna Boutique Beach Hotel and Villas

Very few beaches in the world are as beautiful and secluded while at the same time having such an amazing infrastructure and ease of access. You will likely have paradise all to yourself. The vibe is very, very chill, very pleasant, the service is top notch, the restaurant is excellent, it is a unique place. If you want to relax and bless your senses this is the place. God made it special and the people at Laluna made a great job complementing the amenities.

Crazy romantic quiet place. Laluna is unpretentious. Styled in Balinese tradition, the property is simple and uncluttered. Our cottage was perfect for 2 with a private porch and mini plunge pool. The bathroom is an outdoor shower with a view. It can get a little steamy if you are drying your hair, so opt for carefree hairstyles to match the vibe. The staff was great… friendly and very patient when we slept in. Kayaks and paddle boards were a bonus for exploring the nearby coves. The beach is beautiful and more than ample for sunbathing, swimming or building sand castles. The spa is also small and unassuming. Best massages! Note, the restaurant menu doesn’t change, so plan accordingly if you are there several days. Bartenders are great and will provide a sip of the good stuff if you close it down. Laluna is not a large, overdone, crowded 5-star resort. It’s a simple place. And perfect for our cozy private respite.

It was a truly unmatched experience. Everything was perfect from the private plunge pool, hammock, and the solitude in Cottage #3. We couldn’t have been any happier with the beautiful private beach, great food, tasty drinks, fantastic service, and ample water sports vessels for some fun.

Seriously, it doesn’t get any better than La Luna. I did a lot of research to find the best possible hotel and I just had a feeling this was it. After our stay and exploring a lot of the other resorts, I can say with absolute certainty that La Luna is the perfect balance between authentic Grenada and luxury resort.

We cannot thank every member of the La Luna staff enough for making our stay perfect! They worked so hard to meet our every need and it was refreshing to see that they clearly love their jobs. I highly recommend La Luna and we hope it never changes! Can't wait for our next visit!

We came here for dinner and though the ambiance was nice the hurried and gruff service was bizarre. Would not go back here.

Understand that this outstanding place is not for everyone. Chill, relax, but don't expect butler service. The staff is amazing and the location is great. This is the opposite of the Sandals Factory Vacation.

I made by booking with Marriott representatives. When booking the stay the representatives provided information to the resort about the children that were going to stay with me. The resort emailed me and asked me to cancel my reservation and they would not accept guests under 12 years of age (from their email "Laluna does not allow children under the age of 12"). Nowhere listed on the Marriott website had any restrictions whatsoever of having children at the resort. I wrote back and inquired as I had booked a flight to come down to Grenada just to go to this property. When I spoke with Marriott they assured me there was no issue with children and I spent 2 hours with them looking into this. They called the resort multiple times with no response and opened a case to inquire. They suggested potentially booking 2 rooms as the system would allow them to book children but they may have a limit on the number of people in a room. Again the resort finally emailed me back and simply said we do not accept children under 12 if you want to leave you children at home feel free to keep the booking if not cancel it (as they did not want to be marked for canceling the reservation). I emailed multiple times if they would contact me directly or if their owner/manager Bernardo Bertucci but no one has responded. I would ask that they swiftly change the description of their resort on Marriott and if they go as far as to say dogs are not allow also mention it is an adults only resort. The lack of service prior to arriving has been pretty poor I can not speak to the service at the resort as I am not permitted to go. I will leave this last note Bernardo mentioned in a recent video online he mentions everyone is welcome to the island, but apparently not to his resort, even though in their advertising they have 2 young children watching their parents at a wedding.

La Luna is a unique place. Very stylishly laid back and intimate. If you are looking for a quiet, couples time away, this is it. Wonderfully prepared food and interesting drinks. Very friendly staff. Great venue to just lounge and relax. The cottages are one of a kind. Ask for Deluxe Cottage #8 - great ocean view. We watched the sun set every night from the comfort of the day bed on our front porch. We will be looking forward to visiting this magical enclave again soon!

My wife and I just returned from our 7 night Honeymoon at Laluna, and honestly, it's difficult to put into words just how magical a place this is. It exceeded our expectations and delighted us in every possible way. The setting it unique on the island, nestled perfectly into a forested hillside, overlooking a secluded beach and perfectly blue Caribbean waters. Most of the time, there is nothing to hear, except the sounds of waves, wind, and birds. It was utterly peaceful, which is exactly what we wanted. The rooms were stylish, romantic, and above all, comfortable. I was not sure how I would feel about the open air bathrooms, but they were a really neat experience, and how often do you get to watch the sun set over the Caribbean from your own shower? We each did two treatments at the spa and thoroughly enjoyed both of them. The restaurant was superb at every meal, serving fresh, delicious Italian food, of which we never grew weary. If fact, we both looked so forward to dinner each evening, that we were often the first ones to show up. However, the best part of our experience was undoubtedly the people. The entire staff at Laluna could not possibly have been better. Every single person we encountered, from our housekeeper, to the wait staff, to the watersports attendant, to the front desk and management were warm, friendly, gracious, and seemed to truly enjoy their jobs. All of them did everything in their power to make our trip as special and memorable as it could possibly be.

In summary, if you want to party at a large resort, or are looking for a Disney style place for the kids, Laluna is probably not for your. If, however, you are looking to relax, unwind, and enjoy some amazing sunsets in a secluded slice of paradise, look no further. You will not find a more perfect spot in Caribbean.

We came here for spa services and breakfast. The grounds of the hotel are so peaceful and beautiful. Spa has a Bali theme. Beautiful beach right outside.

Laluna is a beautiful hotel in an amazing location. Wonderful staff and excellent amenities. The food and drinks are great too. Yoga by the beach was very special.

I dined at La Luna yesterday for a friends birthday, terrible and inattentive service. Food is subpar and certain items did not come out in a timely fashion. I would not recommend dining here considering the price point. The only thing we enjoyed was the view, which is hard to see from the restaurant. There are so many better options in Grenada.

Incredible location, rooms and verandas are awesome, food is great, restaurant menu varied, wine, smoothies and drinks excellent, pool is perfect, beach with water sports incredible (snorkeling, kayaks, SUP's, sailing) and great sea glass hunting on beach! We were quarantined there for 7 days due to young unvaccinated child but that was the best part of our trip. Most of all the staff was beyond expectations for service and attention. I can name most of the staff and what they did for us but it would take a long post.
WOW is the word that comes to mind and I dream of the day when we can return. One piece of advice is if you only have one room request it is not shared duplex as rooms are not soundproof, we had two cottages as we were a family of four so we had our personal compound with 100' of deck and two dipping pools, outdoor air bathrooms and views that I can close my eyes and see now.
I saw some negative reviews but they seemed to be issues with Marriot points or misunderstanding with child rules.
Do your homework and speak with concierge at hotel, I believe there is flexibility, especially given the dire state Grenada is in due to pandemic.

I haven’t stayed here but I’ve been there before for lunch and to swim the sunset view is amazing at this place very beautiful

Laluna is a wonderful part of the beautiful island of Grenada, located in the south, it's a peaceful, relaxing environment with friendly welcoming staff. The resort is opened up to a beautiful white sand beach, with crystal clear water, which can be seen from everywhere. Being there sitting at the restaurant hearing the sound of the waves gently rolling in on the shore, smelling the fresh air coming in on the gentle breeze that blows in from the Caribbean Sea in the west, it makes for an amazing experience I would always remember, especially when I need a place to relax, to take a break and just enjoy the tranquil that our island has to offer. Visit Laluna sometime, live in the moment treat yourself you deserve it.

Phenomenal, luxurious hotel. The staff were so friendly and helped us with everything we could need, our room was comfortable and gorgeous, and the beach was stunning. Great amenities too. We hope to be back! Would highly recommend to anyone going to Grenada.

My husband and I spent the first 2 nights of our honeymoon at Laluna and I must say, the experience was amazing! From the moment we arrived, we were greeted by the hotel’s staff who were so warm and friendly. They helped carry our bags to the room and told us a little about the place. The best part of our experience was the room. It was spacious, comfortable and very clean! And not only did we have our own small private pool but we had an incredible view of the beach. Waking up to the sound of waves was so very calming. The food at the restaurant was great as well. I think Laluna is simply the place to be if you are on a honeymoon or vacation. We didn’t want to leave.

Amazing location and incredible food. The drinks are also amazing as well. Right on the beach for a sunset dinner. Our server, Jamal, was THE BEST. Great service with a great attitude and personality. I had the fish tartar as a starter. Fantastic. My main meal was Spicy Thai Peanut Curry Chicken with Pinot Grigio. Wonderful. This is definitely somewhere you want to try out.
