Kayak Kafé / KK Carriacou

Lovely place with amazing food - a hidden gem in Hillsborough. We were walking in the main city as we stumbled upon this gorgeous place - small, local restaraunt with DELICIOUS food. We ordered shrimp tempura, grilled chicken breast and a couple of drinks! Let me tell you - the best shrimp I ever had! My husband and I stayed there for 3hrs because we enjoyed it so much - highly recommend if you appreciate great food, ambience and hard working genuine people!

Everything about this intimate restaurant is amazing. The food, service, and atmosphere ate top notch! We will be back!

The Kayak Kafe is so lovely! They have a cute little deck perched right on the water overlooking Hillsborough Bay and Sandy Island. Sean is the owner and one of the kindest people you will meet! Good food, good drinks, and good vibe. I will definitely be returning. Thank you Sean for your hospitality!

Food is amazing! Me and my fiancé have been coming here for 3 days straight now. Amazing customer service as well! Will be returning anytime I come back to carriacou.

We found the Kayak Kafe by chance while wandering down Main Street in Hillsborough, Carriacou, but it was one of the happiest surprises of our visit. The location is terrific, looking out over the water, and the breeze was a treat. There was a wonderful assortment of local juices and fresh fruit smoothies on offer, as well as the full complement of soft drinks and beers. The service was really good and we felt very welcomed. However, I feel I’m burying the headline; the food is wonderful. There is a diverse blend of local dishes (delicious saltfish and bake) and fresh fish, easy comfort food sandwiches and salads, and then an entire other menu of Asian-inspired items. We went for lunch and came back for dinner! 5 stars on all fronts!

Great food and atmosphere. Sally took great care of us. First lunch on the island. Perfect! Gentle, sweet women served and worked the kitchen. Will recommend it. Lambi Fritters were pleasant suprise.

Our regular spot for breakfast and lunch during our stay in Carriacou. Friendly owner, chefs and awesome views. Would recommend anyone visiting Carriacou to eat there.

Lovely lunch spot overlooking the beach in Hillsborough. Freshly made juices and smoothies daily, as well as a nice variety of menu offerings. We recommend the lion fish platter and lambi roti. DELICIOUS!

I had lion fish, that was great. I also had Spanish omlete that was good too. Their vegetarian roti was fairly bland. Needed salt, onion, and garlic. Probably some cumin, too. Fries were average.

Drinks were good. Recommwnd the coconut conspiracy.

The lentil bake was a fabulous vegan option for dinner! The quality of the food is superb.

All I can say is amazing. The stuff is so kind and fast (not like all the other restaurants where you have to wait hours to get your drinks or food) and the lady is so heartwarming. The food is so delicious and also the milkshakes or smoothies taste perfect. The view to the sea is it also worth it to give the kayak kafé a visit. They have all you want to eat.

This is a real little gem. Right on the beach with a good menu of local and international dishes. Add to that a good drinks and cocktail selection plus friendly and welcoming staff. My only regret is that I only discovered this place the day before I left the island.

Always nice here! Relaxing, family friendly, drinks and breakfast are great.the atmosphere is the best part of it all! Bakes and salt fish are very tasty! If we return to carriacou we will want to visit again!
